A librarian will register your information, create an individual library account for you, and email your user username and password to you. Your username and password are the only credentials you need to check out materials. You must be a Bay Area resident to borrow from the Library. Contact the library if you have questions or need assistance.
How to borrow print and digital materials
The Jewish Community Library’s print collection includes more than 40,000 items in English, Hebrew, Yiddish, and Russian featuring the best in Jewish fiction, nonfiction, memoir, religious texts and commentaries, children’s books, movies, music, and more. Jewish-content ebooks and audiobooks are available 24/7 to Bay Area residents via the Jewish Community Library’s digital collection. Borrowers need their Jewish Community Library username and password. Detailed instructions are available on the Library’s website for downloading and accessing the digital collection.
